Congratulations to the Mobile Music Lessons students who participated in our spring recital to showcase what they have learned! We heard a variety of pieces from performers ranging from ages five through adult, from "Unchained Melody" to Chopin! Stay tuned for our next quarterly recital by visiting our events page.
On a related note, why do musicians perform? Learn more in this article. We love the following quote from it:
It gives us something to live for and to work towards. Performing is a very special form of self-expression and fulfillment, creating experiences that only exist “in the moment” of the performance and then resonate only in our individual and collective memories. A performance offers audience, and performer, a single, one-off interpretation of our “variation” on the piece, remembered and/or preserved only as that interpretation.
